How else can you better know a country than by travelling intensively? Thus, you can discover the food, the culture and the landscape, but also to meet real people! Since moving to Berlin, around 7 years ago, I went in a couple of places, but still curious to discover more from the country. Recently, I gave a name to my wanderings: 100 Places to See in Germany. I document my adventures through pictures and words. After around 40 places seen and checked, I am convinced that I will expand the project to over 100 Places. At the end of the journey, a photo book and a couple of travel essays will be ready to be published.
If you have recommendations for a place I should include on the list, please let me know at: ilanaontheroad (at) gmail (dot) com. Keep in touch!

Wow – what a great idea for a project!!!
Thank you! I love this project very much. I am almost sure that I will keep working on it for more than 100 destinations. 🙂

Hi Cornelia, feel free to write me an e-mail and we can meet! All the best!
Fantastic idea! As a foreigner leaving in the UK I should probably do something similar, since we do travel in the UK whenever we can and saw so many places already 🙂
Thank you! I agree with you, UK is so beautiful, although the temptation to spend most of your time and even your life, in London is so tempting. This project can go to any country, as every one of it has so many hidden gems outside the big touristic spots! Happy travels!
