About

I am always on the road. Never stop discovering new things, places, people and sharing ideas. I feel at home on the road since 14, when I did my first big travel project. Since then, I did not stop and hope that I will see the world at least once in my life.

I am living in Germany, Berlin, right now, the best location to explore Europe and to travel further in other corners of the world. I am author of guides and articles about travel and travel coaching, and I am currently trying to complete my project 100 Places to See in Germany, while setting ambitious travel plans outside Germany.

If you have ideas of collaboration, books to review and interesting travel tips, contact me at: ilanaontheroad (at) gmail (dot) com. The same if you are interested to visit some of the places I’ve been to and looking for an advice! Find me also on Facebook, Google+ or on TwitterΒ for daily travel tips.

  8. I’ve been thinking of moving to Berlin…
Seems better option than London regarding travelling

    • Depends very much which area of the world do you plan to explore. The advantage of Berlin is of being situated just in the middle of Europe, with excellent connections to Eastern, North and Western Europe. Also cheap flights to Asia can be found once in a while. There are many opportunities for the travel blogger. But I equally love London and the UK anyway. πŸ™‚ Happy travels and let me know if you are in Berlin!
